Brainstorming New Projects and Programs: Community Priorities - St. Patrick's Day, Monday, March 17 at the Armory from 6 to 8

The Ideas Fair was amazing!  Thanks so much to everyone who presented, set up a booth and/or participated in the event. I will be posting the ideas that were generated later this week on this blog.

The next step is to take your ideas and float them with the community and prioritize what we want to put our resources and energy into. Please plan to come Monday night - March 17th to the Armory from 6 to 8. We'll brainstorm and prioritize the ideas a group. The priorities generated by you this evening, will be incorporated into the first feasibility analysis for the Community Recreation Plan we are working on. Since in Lake City and Hinsdale County, Recreation = Economic Development, we will not discriminate between ideas that some folks might want to divide into categories. If an project or program priority comes forth that is not specifically "recreation", we will preserve that idea for consideration by groups directly dealing with economic development.

Our community is only as good as the wisdom of the group. Please come out and participate. We need your wisdom as to what is worth considering and pursuing.  Teens are also welcome to participate.
